Suita Parzęczewska

An album inspired by Polish folk music from the Łęczyca region. It came to life thanks to the work of the great Polish ethnographer Oskar Kolberg and the village of Parzęczew.
Irek Wojtczak discovered that the folk music of the Łęczyca region, documented by Kolberg in volume 22 of his series "Łęczyckie", includes short melodic phrases originating from Parzęczew — a town near Łęczyca, where Wojtczak spent his childhood with his parents.
