Peshish

PESH is a Polish-Norwegian ensemble featuring young, talented musicians who are deeply engaged in the European jazz scene. Their music reflects an intuitive mastery of traditional forms, naturally blended with the bold spontaneity of free improvisation. In 2023, they released their debut album, Peshish, which is rooted in four fundamental principles: Meaningfulness, Respect, Demand, and Curiosity. It’s a fully democratic band where every member contributes to the music and influences its shape. While the process takes longer, the results are truly fascinating. So far, they have performed in various places in Europe such as Norway (Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene, Oslo Jazz Festival), Denmark (Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Aarhus Jazz Festival), and Poland (Jazz Jantar Festival).
