Tubicinatores Gedanenses

Tubicinatores Gedanenses is the only ensemble in Poland specializing in historical trumpet music, consistently reviving the sound of early trumpet corps. Drawing inspiration from the tradition of Turmmusik – tower concerts – as well as performances during historical reenactments and civic celebrations such as St. Dominic’s Fair in Gdańsk, the group brings to life the rich musical heritage of the 17th and 18th centuries. Using replicas of period instruments alongside modern performance techniques, Tubicinatores Gedanenses build a bridge between past and present, honoring the unique role of civic trumpeters and immersing listeners in the captivating world of Baroque music.
